First Filming Session

Our first filming session had all of the group present (Me,Izzy,Lauren and Ben).

The first task was to find how we were going to film at our location. The location was a back street alley on a housing estate near to the school we all go to. At the moment blogspot isnt letting me upload the footage onto this post so I will upload all of our shots from the firsfilming session and the second filming session shortly when the site is working again.
The problems we had with shooting this paticular shot was the way in which we wanted to keep the 'ruralness' out of the screen as we thought it would break the illusion of the setting we are trying to put across. we tried 1 or 2 shots of Lauren (Our Character) seeing her in the full but everytime she moved we saw feilds and woodland behind her. In the end we decided to shoot her from the stomach down but starting her very far away and zoomed in. this allows the audience to see her in her entirety but not see the feilds behind her as the angle makes us only see the wall.

This shot will go into our final project as the lighting is very good and with the other few shots it blends perfectly as if no change in location has been done.
